Omar M. Graybill, 91, of Ephrata, formerly of East Earl Twp., died Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Fairmount Homes.

Born in West Earl Twp., he was the son of the late Henry B. and Magdalene (Martin) Graybill. He was married 70 years on Feb. 10 to Edna (Nolt) Graybill.

Omar owned and operated a Buffalo Ranch for 27 years (1982 – 2009) and he also worked in the trucking business for 30 years prior to that.

He was a member of Bethany Grace Fellowship, the National Buffalo Association, and the Pennsylvania Buffalo Association where he served as past president.

Surviving in addition to his wife are five children, Gene, married to Marlyn Graybill of New Holland, Linda, married to Richard E. Leid of Denver, Donna, married to James Redcay of Denver, Kathy, married to David Helman of Stevens, and Thomas L. Graybill of Denver; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four sisters and a brother, Lois, married to Paul Dagen, Jacob, married to Janet Graybill, Orpha Harnish, Eunice, married to Jessy Enk, and Marie, married to Levi Hoover.

Preceding him in death is an infant son; four brothers, Mervin, Paul, Arthur, and Noah Graybill; and a sister, Mary Schantz.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 11 at 2:30 pm at Bethany Grace Fellowship, 400 Reading Road, East Earl with the Reverend Adam Nagle and the Reverend Leon Shirk officiating. Interment will be in the Groffdale Mennonite Cemetery. Viewing will be held at the Church on Friday from 1 – 2:30 pm.
