Patricia A. Hess

Patricia A. Hess, 52, of 146 E. Franklin St., New Holland, died May 1 at Ephrata Community Hospital emergency room.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Carl married to Dottie Hess and the late Ellen (Smoker) Hess.

Patty did clerical work for various employers in the area. She had attended Ranck’s United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

She is also survived by a son, Jesse Powell; three siblings: Pamela married to Rick Meshey, Penny married to Mark Fisher, and Randy married to Jessica Hess.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 6 at 7 p.m. at Ranck’s United Methodist Church, 700 Ranck Rd. New Holland. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be posted on our website, www.groffeckenroth.com.
