Paul B. Zimmerman, 96, a resident of Lincoln Christian Home, Ephrata, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026.
He was the husband of the late Lena Burkholder Zimmerman who died in 2017. Born in Martindale, he was the son of the late Martin and Susanna Burkholder Zimmerman.
Paul was a retired farmer and a member of the Springville Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.
Surviving are four children, Irene wife of Delmar Stauffer of Myerstown, Minerva wife of Timothy Nolt of Denver, Ruth wife of Roy Sensenig of Ephrata, and Paul husband of Kendra Zimmerman of Ephrata; a daughter-in-law, Lynette Hoover wife of the late Nelson Zimmerman of Leesport; and a sister, Susan wife of Paul Martin of Stevens; 20 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Nelson Zimmerman, a daughter, Lorraine Zimmerman, a granddaughter, Alana Zimmerman, 2 great great grandchildren, Diana Burkholder and Gabriel Stauffer, and by siblings, Elmer, Eli, John, Mary, Elsie, and Martin Zimmerman, Eva (Paul) Martin), Anna (Mervin) Horst, Esther (Willis) Good, and Sarah (Raymond) Zimmerman.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Lincoln Christian Home for the wonderful care they provided to Paul.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 30, at 9:30 A.M. at the Springville Mennonite Church, 598 Springville Road, Ephrata, PA with Bishop Melvin Martin officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewings will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Middle Creek Mennonite Fellowship Center, 520 Route 897, Reinholds, PA.
