Paul S. Lowry

Paul S. Lowry, 86, of 485 Diller Ave., New Holland died Saturday, August 29, his birthday, at his home. His wife, Gloria B. (Bryson) Lowry preceded him in death also on her birthday, Dec. 27, 1991.

Born in Earl Twp., he was the son of the late Jason and Mabel (Weaver) Lowry.

Paul served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed boating and camping and was a very caring and giving individual.

He was a welder, last being a supervisor at the former Ford New Holland, now CNH.

Surviving are two sons: Peter B. Lowry, New Holland and Paul J. Lowry, New Holland, three grandchildren: Nicole married to Michael Hall, Jason A. Lowry, Matthew Johnson, two great-grandsons: Cameron Lowry and Michael Hall, Jr., and two sisters: Hazel Folker, New Holland and Elsie Weaver, Lancaster.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela S. Johnson, a sister Betty Seifret and a brother Lee Lowry.

His funeral will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Beck Funeral Home, 315 E. Main St., New Holland with Pastor Kevin Readman officiating. Interment will be in Ranck’s United Methodist Cemetery. A viewing will be held at Beck’s on Thursday from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice & Community Care, P. O.
