Paul N. Newswanger

Paul N. Newswanger, 84, a resident of the Gardens of Stevens, entered into the presence of our Lord and Savior on March 8, 2018. He was the husband of the late Ruth (Kochel) Newswanger.

Born in Earl Twp. he was a son of the late Paul and Rebecca (Nolt) Newswanger.

Paul enjoyed trips to the mountains and Florida. He also enjoyed gardening and teaching Sunday school classes and reading his Bible. Paul loved to eat, visiting local restaurants, and socializing.

In Paul’s early years he was a truck driver, later working for the Borough of Ephrata on the road crew, where he retired.

Paul is survived by 6 children, Ron, husband of Lindy, Ricky, husband of the late Wilda Newswanger, Roger, partner of life to J. Bruce Carswell, Scott, husband of Tammi, Deb, wife of Shawn Clapper, and Darbi, wife of George Knee; 4 step children, Richard Arment, Jr., Darlene Arment, wife of Dorio Jones, Rita, wife of Dave McEldorney, and Ronda, wife of Joe Bisazza. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren, and several siblings.
