Paul Hurst Nolt

Paul Hurst Nolt, 81, of East Earl, passed away on June 7, 2026 in his residence.

Born in West Earl Township, he was the son of the late Raymond W. and Eva H. (Hurst) Nolt.

He was the husband of Mary H. (Rissler) Nolt, with whom he married on September 17, 1964 and shared 61 years of marriage.

He was a member of Spring Grove Mennonite Church (Groffdale Conference) and was a cabinet maker.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Mary, children, Elva Mae wife of Leon Martin of Ephrata, Mary wife of Leon Hoover of Dundee, NY, Leon husband of Wilma (Zimmerman) Nolt of Dundee, NY, Raymond husband of Sylvia (Hoover) Nolt of New Holland, Paul husband of Alta (Martin) Nolt of Russellville, OH, Clifford husband of Esther (Zimmerman) Nolt of East Earl, son in law, Elvin husband of Arlene Hoover, 57 grandchildren, 100 great grandchildren and his siblings, Anna Brubacher of Denver, PA, Melvin husband of Anna Nolt of Plymouth, OH, Titus husband of Sarah Nolt of Penn Yan, NY, Harvey husband of Lydia Nolt of Ephrata, Mary wife of Harvey Martin of Penn Yan, NY Mabel wife of Paul Brubaker, Oconto, WI and Eva Nolt of Hedgeville, WV.

In addition to his parents and stepmother, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Doris Hoover and his great grandson Austin Hoover.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 9:30 AM at Spring Grove Mennonite Church, 1251 Precast Road, East Earl PA 17519 with Bishop Marvion S. Nolt officiating. Burial in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewings will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Clifford’s home, 797 Terre Hill Road, East Earl PA 17519.
