Paul Reiff Martin

Paul Reiff Martin, 76, of East Earl, PA, passed away at home on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

He was the husband of Annie (Shirk) Martin. Born October 17, 1948, in New Holland, he was the son of the late LeRoy and Lizzie (Reiff) Martin.

Paul was a member of the Bowmansville Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference, where he had served as a minister since 1977. He was a retired farmer.

Surviving besides his wife are three sons, Elvin husband of Evelyn Martin of East Earl, Jay Paul husband of Louella Martin of Dundee, NY, and Jonathan husband of Rose Ann Martin of Red Creek, NY; seven daughters, Alma wife of Nevin Zimmerman of Lititz, Anna Mary wife of Leon Martin of Elma, IA, Norma wife of Levi Leinbach of East Earl, Grace wife of Lamar Zimmerman of Greenwood, WI, Linda wife of John Aaron Hoover of Curtiss, WI, Arlene wife of Amos Zimmerman of Mohnton, PA, and Annetta wife of John Martin of Sharon Grove, KY; 58 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; two brothers, LeRoy husband of Martha Martin of Morgantown, Aaron husband of Christine Martin of Leesport; three sisters, Mabel Martin of New Holland, Ella Mae wife of Neal Hoover of Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA, Elizabeth wife of James Leid of Narvon; and a sister-in-law, Arlene Martin of Little Cedar, IA. He was preceded in death by a stillborn son, a granddaughter, a great granddaughter, by brothers, Ivan Martin, and Melvin Martin and by a sister-in-law Edna (Melvin) Martin.

The family wishes to express their thanks to the nurses from Hospice and Community Care for their loving care and support.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 3, at 9:30 A.M. at the Bowmansville Mennonite Church (Groffdale Conference) with Bishop Leon Zimmerman officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewings will be held on Sunday at the residence of Levi Leinbach, 129 Laurel Road, East Earl, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
