Paul S. Weber, 97, of Landis Homes, formerly of Bowmansville, passed on to his heavenly home on May 14, 2017.
Born June 22, 1919 in Brecknock Twp., the son of the late William G. and Alice (Shirk) Weber. His wife, Ruth S. (Wenger) Weber, died June 20, 2007.
Paul worked as an auto body technician for over 35 years at Lichty Brothers in East Earl, retiring in 1981.
He was a lifetime member at Bowmansville Mennonite Church where he taught Sunday school for many years.
Surviving are five children, Mary Ellen, married to Marvin Gingrich of Ephrata, Eugene, married to Joyce (Snader) Weber of Reamstown, Marvin Weber, companion of Dennis Witting of Englewood, FL, Robert Weber of Carrolton, TX, and Carl, married to Rose (Ulrich) Weber of Lebanon; nine grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death is a son, Richard Lee Weber (1945); a sister, Elsie Weber; and a daughter-in-law, Thresa (Chapman) Weber.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, JUNE 3 at 11 am at Bowmansville Mennonite Church, 129 Pleasant Valley Road, East Earl with the Reverend Larry Weber officiating. Private interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday, JUNE 2 from 6-8 pm at Landis Homes, East Bethany Chapel, 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, PA 17543. The family will also receive friends on Saturday, JUNE 3 at Bowmansville Mennonite Church from 10-11 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Landis Homes Caring Fund, address above.
