Paul Zimmerman Martin

Paul Z. Martin, 89, of 223 Hahnstown Road, Ephrata, passed away at home on Thursday, December 7, 2023.

He was the husband of the late Anna S. Wenger Martin who died in 1984. Born in New Holland, he was the son of the late Weaver and Mary Zimmerman Martin.

Paul was a farmer and a member of the Stauffer Mennonite Church.

Surviving are three sons, Eugene husband of Alta Martin of Bainbridge, OH, Chester husband of Lizzie Martin of Bainbridge, OH, and Earl husband of Martha Martin of New Holland; four daughters, Joanne wife of Leroy Gehman of Mt. Pleasant Mills, June wife of Leonard Wanner of Ephrata, Marie wife of Eugene Martin of Ephrata, and Linda wife of Luke Gehman of New Holland; 46 grandchildren, 84 great grandchildren; one sister, Anna Wenger of Liverpool; one brother, Lloyd husband of Florence Auker Martin of Bainbridge, OH; and two sister-in-laws, Lilly Martin of KY, and Mildred Martin of New Holland. He was preceded in death by brothers, Allen Martin, Irvin Martin, and Elam Martin and by five sisters, Edna Brubaker, Alice Weaver, Fannie Hoover, Eva Brubaker and Elva Stauffer.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Stauffer Mennonite Church, on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 9:30 A.M. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewings will be held at the late home on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Arrangements by the Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill, PA
