Peter J. Rueckle

Peter J. Rueckle, 69, of New Holland, passed away peacefully at his home on January 1, 2025. Peter was born in Abington, PA, to his late parents, William and Gladys (Richards) Rueckle. Peter and his beloved wife, Lynn C. (Munshower) Rueckle, recently celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary.

Peter worked for many years in sales and IT services in the automotive industry, owning his own business. He was an honest and simple man who loved the Lord and his family very much. Peter and Lynn worshiped faithfully at Grace Family Church in New Holland. He enjoyed being outdoors and camping with his family. He also enjoyed wintering in Florida, bluegrass music and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife Lynn at home, Peter is survived by his children; Gary Rueckle and his wife Rhonda, of Schwenksville, PA, Steve Rueckle and his wife Brianne, of Spring City, PA and Dan Rueckle, also of Spring City, PA. In addition, he is survived by his grandchildren; Logan, Brooke and Opal Rueckle and his siblings, David Rueckle and his wife Carol, of Jupiter, FL, Stephen Rueckle and his wife Susan, of Chandler, AZ and Carol Gambone and her husband Justin, of Worcester, PA.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Groff-High Funeral Home, Inc., 145 West Main Street, New Holland, PA, with Pastor Andrew Krug officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately at Riverside Cemetery in Norristown, PA.
