Philip R. Welsher, 79, a resident of Garden Spot Village, passed away on November 20, 2025.

Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late David and Virgina (Waterman) Welsher.

He was the husband of Mary Ellen (Downing) Welsher, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.

He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church. When he resided in Massachusetts, he was a part of a men’s bluegrass band for over 15 years.

Philip is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen, his children, Donald Welsher husband of Maggie and Rebecca Vanderdrift wife of Seth, four grandchildren and his siblings, Leslie Welsher and David Welsher.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 7:00PM in the Garden Spot Village Chapel, 433 S Kinzer Avenue, New Holland PA 17557.
