Phung Kim Vu

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Phung Kim Vu, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, son, cousin, and friend, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 72.

Born in Saigon, Phung immigrated to the United States with a vision of building a better future for himself and his family. His unwavering love and commitment to those he held dear were the cornerstones of his life.

A talented engineer, Phung earned a bachelor’s of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Tennessee. His intellect, dedication, and meticulous work ethic made him a respected and admired member of the community. However, it was his devotion to his family that truly set him apart.

Phung was a man whose love for his family knew no bounds. He took great pride in being a husband, father, and later a grandfather, always leading by example with kindness, patience, and a deep sense of responsibility.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Phuong, his mother, Dung, his children, Jennifer and Tiffany, his grandchildren, Ezra and Archer, his siblings, Long, Paul, Loan, Huy, and Christopher, and many other relatives and friends whose lives he touched in profound ways.

He is preceded in death by his father, Cuong, and his brothers, Hoang and Hung.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11 AM at Groff High Funeral Home, 145 W Main Street, New Holland, PA 17557. A visitation will be held from 10 AM to 11 AM at the funeral home
