Phyllis L. Russell

Phyllis L. (Weber) Russell, 89, a resident of Garden Spot Village, passed away on November 5, 2025.

Born in Penryn, she was the daughter of the later Clair and Helen (Steffy) Weber.

She was the wife of Ronald P. Russell, with whom she married on December 10, 1960 and shared 64 years of marriage.

She was a member of the Community Church at Garden Spot Village. She received her bachelor's degree in education from Millersville University and was employed as a teacher for 33 years at New Holland Elementary and then was a substitute teacher for 12 years. She enjoyed reading, word searches, word puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Ronald, her son, Steven Russell, her son-in-law, Jonas Beiler, grandchildren, Jami wife of Dylan Crane, Mikayla wife of Eduardo Osorio, Brianna Beiler, Kelli wife of Logan Van Treeck and Kian Beiler, great granddaughter, Elaine Crane and an expected great grandson, Luca Osorio.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Beiler.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Garden Spot Village Chapel, 433 S Kinzer Avenue, New Holland PA 17557. The family will greet guests after the service. A private graveside will be held in Evangelical United Methodist Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Wintergarden Skilled Nursing at Garden Spot Village for their wonderful care of Phyllis during her stay there.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Garden Spot Benevolent Fund at the address above.
