Ralph D. Stoltzfus, 90, of Ephrata, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at his residence.
Born in Elverson, he was the son of the late David and Mattie (Smoker) Stoltzfus. He was the husband of Carol (Weaver) Stoltzfus. They would have been married 67 years on December 28.
Ralph was a lifelong dairy farmer. He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. He played ice hockey for many years and enjoyed cross-country snowmobiling. In his later years, he spent winters in Florida.
He attended Hopewell Christian Fellowship for 40+ years and Christian Fellowship Church since moving to Fairmount Homes. Ralph was anticipating his heavenly home with no more pain; he had had many health issues in the last 40 years.
He is survived by five children: Larry (Tammy) Stoltzfus of Simpsonville, SC, Theresa (Luther) Sheldon of Beaverdam, VA, Shelby (Randy) Richmond of Hawley, PA, Roger (Dixie) Stoltzfus of Myerstown, Charles (Ann) Stoltzfus of Narvon, 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and six siblings: J. Wilmer Stoltzfus, Elsie Petersheim, Edna Martin, Grace Sensenig, Vera Styer and Fern Clemmer.
He was preceded in death by four sisters: Mildred Yoder, Esther Hostetler, Ruth Beam and Romaine Stuckey.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Conestoga Mennonite Church, 2779 Main St., Morgantown. Burial will be private at Pine Grove Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
