Ralph William Young

Ralph William “Bill” Young, 59, of 205 Walnut St., New Holland, died Monday, August 25, 2014.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Dolores (Coble) Young of New Holland and the late Wilbur A. Young.

He was a 1973 graduate of Pequea Valley High School and was employed as a truck escort driver.

He enjoyed the Phillies, Eagles, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and good times with friends.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Dr. Tyler B. Young, Lancaster; two step-daughters: Tara and Tenele Bell, Lancaster; a brother Terry W. married to Joyce P. Young, Strasburg; a sister Wendy A. Young companion of Michael Rhinier, Manheim; a step-father Tom McKillips, New Holland; six step-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren and four nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother Randy Young and a niece.

A viewing will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 7 – 9 p.m. at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland. Kindly omit flowers.
