Randall G. Stubbs

Randall G. Stubbs went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 5, 2013. He was 65 years old.

Having lived most of his life in Bowmansville, PA, Randy was the son of Pearl “Sue” Stubbs and the late Arthur G. Stubbs.

He graduated from Garden Spot High School, York Junior College, and Penn State University.

An active member of the community, Randy was well known for his involvement in the Bowmansville Fire Company, of which he was a member for 49 years, as an EMT for the Fivepointville Ambulance, and as a member of the Pine Grove Church where he was active in leadership over the years.

He was the owner of Stubbs Insurance Associates in Wernersville, PA and prior to that, was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Groff’s Snack Food, Bowmansville, PA.

Randy served on the Corporation of Lancaster Bible College, the board of directors at Tel Hai Retirement Community and was a member of the Gideons International Lancaster East Camp.

He will be remembered for his leadership, great personality, friendship, and compassion.

Randy is survived by his wife of 39 years, Susan; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Corina Stubbs of Bowmansville; daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Joel Wildasin of Bowmansville, five grandchildren: Emma and Sadie Stubbs, and Treth, Nya, and Ada Wildasin of Bowmansville; sister, Pat Weaver of Leola; mother, Pearl “Sue” Stubbs; and father-in-law, Willard “Sam” Trethewey, both of New Holland, PA.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 4-7p.m. at Pine Grove Church, Bowmansville and following the memorial service which will be held on Monday evening, December 9 at 6:30 p.m., also at Pine Grove Church.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pine Grove Church Building Fund, 1194 Reading Rd., P.O.
