Raymond E. Kurtz

Raymond E. Kurtz, 86, of East Earl, died Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Lancaster General Hospital. His wife, Phyllis E. (King) Kurtz, preceded him in death in 2014.

Born in Clay, he was the son of the late Israel B. and Cora (Waltz) Kurtz.

Raymond was a mechanic, working at various automotive and motorcycle businesses.

Surviving are two children: Wanda E. married to Jeffrey Cashwiler, Mohnton, and Michael R. Kurtz, Florida, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and four siblings: Jerry married to Arlene Kurtz, Vera Kochel, Kathryn Thompson, and Arthur Kurtz.

His funeral will be private at the convenience of the family with burial in Zeltenreich Cemetery. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland is in charge of arrangements.
