Raymond M. Martin

Raymond M. Martin, 75, of Lititz, died Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Lincoln Christian Home, Ephrata. His wife of 55 years, Mabel M. (Rutt) Martin, survives.

Born in Elizabeth Twp., he was the son of the late H. Landis and Anna (Martin) Martin.

Raymond was a farmer and a member of Meadow Valley Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by seven children: Gary R. (Ruth Burkholder) Martin, Lititz, Delmar R. (Lynette Martin) Martin, Denver, Curtis R. (Denise Huber) Martin, Richfield, Christine R. (Lester Dean) Martin, Lititz, Charlene R. (Dwight) Martin, Moravia NY, Mary Ann (Jerry) High, Reinholds, June Marie (Delmar) Sensenig, Seneca Falls, NY, 41 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, a brother, Earl (Mildred) (the late Barbara) Martin and seven sisters: Vera (John) Nolt, Edna (the late Amos B.) Martin, Miriam Martin, Lavern (John) Fox, Norma Martin, Anna Mae (Elvin) Hoover, Erla (Merle) Martin.

He was preceded in death by a son, Rodger, a grandson Garrett, and four brothers: Harlan (late Emma Nolt) Martin, John Elam (Eva Jane Stauffer) Martin, Elvin Martin, and Wilmer (Elaine Rohrer) Martin.

His funeral will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at Meadow Valley Mennonite Church, 200 Meadow Valley Rd., Ephrata, with Bishop Quinton Wenger, Gary Zimmerman, Nelson Martin, and Ray Martin officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewings will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Fairmount Homes Farm Crest Chapel. Kindly omit flowers.
