Raymond Z. Martin

Raymond Z. Martin, 76, of East Earl, passed away at home on Monday, July 22, 2024.

He was married 53 years to Esther Mae Stauffer Martin. Born in New Holland, he was the son of the late John Z. and Ella Zimmerman Martin.

Raymond was a retired truck driver. He was a member of Heritage Mennonite Church in Stevens. He was a former member of the Martindale Fire Company where he had been active for many years. He was a member of Penn Dutch Sportsman Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, antique tractors and spending time at his cabin.

Surviving besides his wife are three daughters, Tina M. wife of Ed Martin of Ephrata, Theda K. wife of Jeff Martin of Reading, and Teresa A. wife of Kevin Weaver of Mill Hall; a son, Trulan Ray husband of Katrina (Nolt) Martin of Ephrata; 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Jane wife of George Weaver of Ephrata, Janet Martin and Joyce Martin both of New Holland; and a brother, Earl husband of Faye Martin of Ephrata. He was preceded in death by three siblings, Esther Mae Martin, Mervin Martin, and John Martin, Jr.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 25, at 10:00 A.M. at the Martindale Mennonite Church, 171 Hurst Road, Ephrata, PA with Pastors Javan Horst, Tyler Witmer and Barry Wenger officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewings will be held at Martindale Mennonite Church on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Kindly omit flowers.
