Rebecca S. Huyett

Rebecca S. Huyett, 93, of Narvon, formerly of 153 Huyett Road, Mohnton, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Zerbe Sister Nursing Centre.

Born in Brecknock Twp., Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Rebecca (Styer) Fox. Her husband, Lloyd Huyett, died in 1990.

Rebecca was a homemaker and a member of the St. John Center Lutheran Church. She enjoyed canning, flea markets, BINGO, and was best known for her love of dancing.

Surviving are five children, Lloyd, Jr., married to Marie (LaPearl) Huyett of Mohnton, Richard, married to June (Seidel) Huyett of Mohnton, Ruth, married to Sam McMullen of Birdsboro, Kenneth, married to Donna (Millard) Huyett of Birdsboro, and Betty Jane, widow of Ronald E. Johnson of Stevens; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and a half-sister, Verna Davidheiser of Narvon.

Preceding her in death are two sons, George and James Huyett.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 10 am at the Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill. Interment will be in the Center Union Cemetery.
