Reynolds B. Williams

Reynolds B. “Renny” Williams, 94, of 333 Wheat Ridge Drive, Ephrata, formerly of New Holland, died Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Fairmount Homes.

Born in Gap, he was the son of the late Charles and Lena (Hess) Williams. His wife, Helen D. (Sollenberger) Williams, died in 2007.

Renny worked as a house painter with his father for 10 years and then in a machine shop for Lukens Steel Mill in Coatesville for 5 years. Later he worked as a Maintenance Electrician for 35 years, retiring in 1982, with the former Sperry New Holland.

He was a member of the New Holland United Methodist Church where he formerly served as trustee for many years, official board member, and the membership committee. He was an avid hunter and fisherman in his younger years.

Surviving is a son, Barry R. Williams of New Holland; a daughter, Sharon L. Clouette of Milford, DE.; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are two brothers, Charles and Ross Williams; and a sister, Ethel V. Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 1 at 2 pm at the New Holland United Methodist Church, 120 W. Main St., New Holland with the Reverend Ray Voran officiating.
