Richard Lee Hersh

Richard Lee Hersh, 64, of Denver, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Tuesday, December 16, 2014.

Born in Mohnton, he was the son of the late Frank Z. and Irene (Good) Hersh. He was married 27 years on March 27 to Corinne (Matz) Hersh.

Richard worked as an equipment operator for Lyons & Hohl in Honey Brook for many years.

He was also a Christian and enjoyed hunting.

Surviving in addition to his wife are four children, Shawn, married to Lori Hersh of Denver, Heather, married to Mike Brechtlein of Reinholds, Paul, married to Miranda Pchola of Mohnton, and Brian Hersh at home; four grandchildren; a brother, Frank V., married to Rosanna Hersh of Terre Hill; and a sister, Teresa Amsbaugh of Honey Brook.

Preceding him in death are five sisters and a brother, Bernice Hersh, Arlene Loose, Marian Fox, Gerald Hersh, LaVerne Good, Marie Hersh.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 20 at 11 am at the Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill with Pastor Stephen P. Cote officiating. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 10-11 am.
