Richard Gary Hoover

Richard Gary Hoover, 78, of Narvon, formerly of Leola, died Monday, February 5, 2017 at Zerbe Sisters.

Born in Lancaster, he was a son of the late Chester B. and Helen (Anderson) Hoover. His wife, June (Zimmerman) Hoover, died May 8, 2009.

Richard worked in the maintenance department at the former Quinlan Pretzels in Denver.

He enjoyed Karate earlier in life.

Surviving are three sisters, Sandra, married to Ron Buckwalter of New Holland, Judy, married to Robert Smith of Talmage, and Theresa, married to Ray Wanner of Ephrata.

Preceding him in death are two brothers, Jack and Larry Hoover.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
