Richard M. Welk

Richard M. Welk, Jr., 60, of Narvon, died at his home on Saturday, January 2, 2021, after a 1-year illness.

Born in Lancaster, he was a son of the late Richard M. Welk, Sr. and Dorothy (Trego) Welk Witmer. He was married 13 years, on July 27, to Brenda A. (Miller) Welk.

Richard was a truck driver all his life.

He enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. He also loved his puppies, “Bear” and “Muffy”.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Richard M. Welk, III of Grand Rapids, MI; a grandson, Ricky Welk of Grand Rapids, MI; and a sister, Tammy (Dale) Copp of Eden.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents is a sister, Cindy Welk.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
