Richard E Pennypacker

Richard E. Pennypacker, 74, of Denver, died Monday, August 20, 2018 at The Gardens at Stevens. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda L. (Moyer) Pennypacker in 2008.


Born in Brecknock Twp., he was the son of the late Elmer and Katie (Von Nieda) Pennypacker.


Richard was employed as a machinist with Dorma Door Controls.


He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Bowmansville. He enjoyed riding motorcycle, attending car shows, tinkering with cars and tractors, trains, and was a Civil War buff.


Surviving is a step-son, Lester married to Peggy (Harter) Wise, Denver; two step-grandchildren, Dustin Wise and Amanda Pietsch; five step-great grandchildren and his companion Betty Salada.


His funeral will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at2 p.m. at Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill with Rev. Dr. Robert Peiffer officiating. Interment will be in Bowmansville Union Cemetery. A viewing will be held at Eckenroth’s on Thursday from 7 – 9 p.m. and Friday from 1 -2 p.m. Online condolences may be posted at www.groffeckenroth.com.
