Robert L. Heller

Robert Lloyd Heller, 89, was born in Hinkletown, PA to Lloyd and Mabel Brubaker Heller on November 20, 1934.

He died on February 17, 2024 in Zerbe Retirement Community. He lived in Hinkletown, PA for 8 years. He then moved to Narvon, PA where he lived on his parent’s farm for many years. He also lived in Honeybrook. One of the highlights of his life was the time he spent in Belize in 1961 & helping in vacation Bible School in Alabama for many summers. He was an active member of the Cambridge Mennonite Church in PA. He enjoyed meeting people and making friends.

Robert is survived by his brother Herbert (Dorothy Bauman) Heller of Flomaton, AL and sister Ruth Ann (Larry) Wolfe of Akron, PA. He is also survived by a foster brother Karl (Nancy Good) Kimmet of Lincoln, PA, a foster sister Joan Daniels of Terre Hill, PA, a brother-in-law Melvin Burkholder of Ephrata, PA and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother Terry Heller and a foster sister Ellen Burkholder.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Cambridge Mennonite Church, 2906 Cambridge Road, Honey Brook PA 19344 with Glenn Esh, Phil Groff and Ray Burkholder officiating. A Viewing will be held for one hour prior to the time of service. Interment in Martindale Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Groff High Funeral Home in New Holland is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
