Robert J. Koch

Robert J. Koch, Jr., 60, of Leola, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, August 24, 2020.

Robert was born in Queens, NY but grew up in Middletown, NJ. He was a son of the late Robert J. and Janet (Kinkopf) Koch. He was married 28 years on April 25, to Christine M. (Mulvenna) Koch.

Robert had been working most recently in security at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire and also as a home auto mechanic. The Ford Mustang was his car of choice. Previously he had worked as an EMS Instructor at HACC, and as an auto mechanic for some area auto dealerships. He also served 14 years with the Leola Ambulance as Operations Chief.

Surviving in addition to his wife are four children, Robert J. (Kristie) Koch, III of Lewisburg, Matthew J. (Sarah) Koch of Ephrata, Sarah E. Koch of Leola, and Frank E. Koch of Leola; four grandchildren, Emmalene, Adelaide, Sydney, and Audrey; a sister, Laura (Kenneth) May of Hazlet, NJ; two brothers, Edward Koch of Florida, and James Koch of Reddington Beach, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death is a sister, Theresé Jones.
