Robert Eugene Lauer

Robert E. Lauer, Sr., 89, of Elizabethville, formerly of Narvon, died Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Spring Creek Rehabilitation Center in Harrisburg.

Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late John and Marie McKelvey Lauer.

Robert retired from Narvon Mines. He enjoyed following NASCAR and the Atlanta Braves.

Surviving are two sons, Robert E., Jr. husband of Jackie Lauer of Narvon, and Michael P. husband of Wendy Lauer of Honey Brook; three daughters, Bonnie L. Weaver wife of Kevin Martenson of Manchester, Denise Hash of West Virginia, and Theresa Pennington of Lancaster; ten grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; and two brothers, Francis Lauer of Kimberton, and Dennis husband of Victoria Lauer of Mechanicsburg. He was preceded in death by a son, John Lauer and by a brother, Jack Lauer.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 29, at 11:00 A.M. at the Beck Funeral Home, 315 E. Main St., New Holland, PA with the Rev. Deane Boyd officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in the Bridgeville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Robert’s memory may be made to The American Cancer Society.
