Robert M. Mclean

Robert M. McLean, 93, of Lancaster, formerly of New Holland, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Lancaster General Hospital. He was the loving husband of Bonnie K. (Osborn) McLean, whom preceded him in death in 2008.

Born in North Bloomfield, OH, he was a son of the late Everett and Helen (Chapman) McLean.

Robert served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Afterwards, he was a manager at Penn Jersey Harvestore Systems, New Holland, for over twenty years. He was also a member of the New Holland United Methodist Church.

Surviving are four children, Sandra, married to Tom Johnson, of Lititz, James E. McLean of Allentown, Larry R. McLean of New Tripoli, and Michael McLean of York; a brother, Raymond McLean, of Warren, OH; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Preceding Robert in death were his parents, his wife, and his sister-in-law, Verna Mclean.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 8 at 11 AM at the Lancaster Church of the Brethren, 1601 Sunset Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17601, with Pastor J. Calvin Wenger officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Interment will be held privately by the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Arrangements by Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland.
