Robert Morris Sprecher

Robert M. “Mick” Sprecher, 91, of East Earl passed away at home on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.

He was the husband of Grace E. Buzzard Sprecher. Born in East Earl, he was the son of the late Robert W. and Ellen Jane Sandoe Sprecher.

Mick had worked 38 years in sales for Eagle Exterior Decorators and then worked 14 years in maintenance at Yoder’s. He was a member of Mt. Zion Untied Methodist Church. He was a longtime member and former trustee of Garden Spot Fire and Rescue and had volunteered at many fire company functions. He was a member of Smoky Ridge Hunting Camp, Huntingdon County, since 1956. He enjoyed hunting and spending time at the cabin in Juniata County. He loved his dogs.

Surviving besides his wife are three sons, Robert Jr., “Rick” husband of Carol King Sprecher of New Holland, Kenneth L. husband of Carol Kurtz Sprecher of East Earl, and Timothy A. husband of Roberta Long Sprecher of East Earl; five grandchildren, Mary wife of John Schonour, Maura wife of Dan Buckley, Melissa wife of Dawn Erickson, Christine wife of Seth Graybill, and Curtis husband of Emmalee Sprecher; three great grandchildren, Mason and Mya Graybill and Annie Schonour. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lesley Sprecher.

The family would like to thank Hospice and Community Care for the exceptional care given to Mick.

Services and interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family,
