Roger A. Hoff, 82, of New Holland, died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Ephrata Manor after a brief illness.
Born in York, he was the son of the late Clarence and Agnes (McManus) Hoff. He was married 58 years on Dec. 31 in Towson, MD to Julia L. (Willders) Hoff.
Surviving in addition to his wife are four children, Keith E., Michael E., Ricky S., and Scott E. Hoff.
Education: Diploma, Public Schools, 1948; U.S. Army Food Service Schools; Certificate, ICS School of Modern Management; Certificate, NAFFP College of Industry Knowledge.
Appointments held: Administrative Manager, Baking and Food Industry; Administrative Manager, Fleet (Trucking) Operations; City Manager, Avis Rent-a-Car System; Executive Manager (Leasing), Rollins Leasing Corporation, Rollins International. Appointed Notary Public, State of Pennsylvania, for a four-year term. Contributor of news articles to Clarion, New Holland, Pa.
Professional and civic affiliations: Pennsylvania State Chairman for Brotherhood, 1965 (resigned due to business responsibilities); United Fund of Berks County (Collector, 1960-64, Campaign Volunteer Chairman, 1960-66); Boys Town, Neb.
