Roger E. Wenner, Sr., 83, of New Holland, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Bryn Mawr Extended Care Center, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Roger was born on August 3, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to his late parents, Louis and Loretta (Bryan) Wenner. His beloved wife, Mildred E. (Daniels) Wenner, passed away in September 2016.
Roger was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, who served during the Korean conflict. In the years following his active military service, he received wonderful healthcare services at the VA Medical Center in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. He worked at Coca-Cola for many years in various warehouse positions. In his earlier years, he cherished family camping trips with his wife, children, and grandchildren. After the death of Mildred, he found comfort and friendship when eating out with his friends and staff members at Yoders Restaurant in New Holland.
Roger is survived by his children, Roger E. Wenner, Jr., and Barbara Langlois (Eric), and grandchildren, Shawn and Rachel Langlois.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 150 Water Street, New Holland, with Father Steve Fauser presiding. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 AM until the time of the Mass. Interment will be held immediately following the Mass at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Ephrata, Pennsylvania.
The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of the VA Medical Center in Coatesville for their exceptional care that they provided to Roger.
