Romaine S. Miller

Romaine S. Miller, 83, of 989 Sunset Ave., New Holland, died unexpectedly at Lancaster General Hospital ER on May 13, 2014. She was the wife of Wilbur D. Miller with whom she shared almost 56 years of marriage.

Born in East Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Harry K. and Lillie Mae (Bowers) Shenk.

Romaine was a homemaker and currently attended Petra Christian Fellowship.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children: Marcella married to Mark Reynolds, Terre Hill and Randall married to Dawn Miller, Lebanon, NJ; four grandchildren and five siblings: Ruth Landis, Lancaster; Roy B. Shenk, Delmar, DE; Harry B. Shenk, Lititz; Melvin B. Shenk, Mt. Joy; and Joanne Hershey, Bridgewater, VT.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, May 17 at 10 a.m. at Petra Christian Fellowship, 565 Airport Rd., New Holland. The family will receive friends at Petra on Saturday from 9 – 10 a.m. Burial will take place in Erisman Mennonite Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Kindly omit flowers.
