Rosalyn Weatherholtz

Rosalyn “Sis” Weatherholtz, 95, formerly of Leola, died Friday, October 3, 2014 at Garden Spot Village. She was preceded in death by her husband, Haller L. “Tiny” Weatherholtz in 2002.

Born in Bareville, she was the daughter of the late D. Harner and Stella (Kline) Weaver.

A graduate of Upper Leacock High School, Sis was a homemaker and did seamstress work in her home for others.

She was a member of Leola United Methodist Church.

Surviving is a son, Barry L. married to Barbara (Cooke) Weatherholtz, Lititz; three grandchildren: Karen married to Richard Schnader, Barbra married to Dwane Horst, Russell married to Elizabeth Weatherholtz; six great-grandchildren; and a sister Jane Feirick.

She was preceded in death by a son, Bruce R.Weatherholtz, a sister Helen Overly, and four brothers: Richard Weaver, Pherl Weaver, and Clair Weaver, William Weaver.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Garden Spot Village Chapel with Pastor Tim Smith officiating. Interment will be in Terre Hill Cemetery.
