Rosene Wagner

Rosene Wagner, 84, of Birch Lane, New Holland, died Thursday, March 27, 2014, after a lengthy illness at Hospice & Community Care, Mt. Joy. She is survived by her husband Paul with whom she shared 59 years of marriage March 26.

Born in Earl Twp., she was the daughter of the late Harold M. and M. Kathryn (Good) Howe.

She was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church, New Holland, the Golden Years Club of Ephrata, and the American Legion Post 28 in Millsboro, Del. She also enjoyed flowers and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rosene had worked in the office as a secretary for Ford New Holland all of her working career, retiring in 1991.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Larry, married to Kath (Romano) Wagner of New Market, MD, Karen Groff of New Holland, and Linda Wagner of Millsboro, DE, five grandchildren, Brian Groff, Kyle Groff, Heather Groff, Travis Wagner, Tyler Moscatelli; and three great-grandchildren, Hailey Groff, Alyssa Groff, and Chase Groff.

She was preceded in death by a sister Mary Ellen Wirth.

A funeral service will be held at Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland, on Wednesday, April 2 at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Jerry Crossley and the Reverend Ray Voran officiating. Interment will be in the Zeltenreich Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, at the Funeral Home from 10 – 11 am.
