Roy D. Dunlap

Roy D. Dunlap, 58, of New Holland, died Friday, March 16, 2018 after a lengthy illness.

Born in Merced, CA, he was the son of James E. Dunlap of Pittsburgh and the late Vera Mae (Jordan) Dunlap. He was married 30 years on Aug. 29 to Helen E. (Nuse) Dunlap.

Roy worked as a Diesel Mechanic, Truck Driver, and Body Repair Man from 1985-2011 for Valley Protein in Terre Hill.

He was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed playing pool, bowling, hunting, fishing, wrestling and cheering on the Pittsburgh teams.

Surviving in addition to his wife and father are two sons, Justin Dunlap of New Holland, and Jason Dunlap of Pittsburgh; a step daughter, Lisa, married to Sean Snowberger of East Earl; 9 grandchildren; a brother, James Dunlap of Pittsburgh; and a sister, Debbie Dunlap of Pittsburgh; 4 nephews and 3 nieces.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 22 at 5 pm at the Beck Funeral Home, 315 E. Main St., New Holland. The family will receive friends from 4-5 pm.
