Ruth E. Cacka

At 3:28 AM on January 11, Ruth E. Cacka left her earthly residence in Terre Hill and took up residence in her eternal home in heaven. There she was once again joined with her husband, Joseph Cacka who preceded her in 2006 and her sister Doris Lawler. Born in Irvington, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Edna (Klinger) Geehr. Ruth had been a school secretary for 37 years. She enjoyed reading and doing all kinds of needlework. Surviving her are two sons: Peter married to Dee (Moore) Cacka, Terre Hill and David married to Barbara (Lyle) Cacka, Fairfax, VT; three grandchildren: John, Jennifer, and Joyce; and a great granddaughter, Lilliana. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, January 14 at 2 PM at the Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill with the Rev. Dr. James Bamberger officiating.
