Ruth F. Green

Ruth F. Green, 85, of New Holland, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital. She was the loving wife of Lee P. Green, Sr., whom preceded her in death in 1972.

Born in Salisbury Township, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Blanche (Englerth) McCamant.

Ruth was a member of Limeville U.M. Church. She worked for Penn Scale Co. of Lancaster as an electronics assembler for over 27 years. In her spare time she enjoyed playing bingo and visiting Delaware Park with her friends and family. Ruth’s loving heart truly changed the lives of her family, friends, and anyone she met.

Ruth is survived by three children: Darlene Ressler of New Holland, Lee P. Green, Jr., with companion Gail Blann, of New Holland, and Dianne Diem, companion to Don Arndt, of New Holland; 6 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and her cat, Kitty.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 7 siblings, and Bill Fornwalt, companion to Darlene.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11 AM at the Beck Funeral Home, 315 E. Main St., New Holland, PA 17557 with Pastor Greg Impink officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Narvon. Viewing will be held on Friday from 9-11 AM at the funeral home.
