Ruth M. Beam

Ruth M. Beam, 77 of New Holland, died at her home on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 of complications from congestive heart failure.

Born in Narvon, she was the daughter of the late Roy C. and Margaret (Engle) Boley.

She worked as a cook at the New Holland Sales Stable and also at SquireSide Café in New Holland. She enjoyed her 4-wheeler, raising rabbits, chickens, Airedale dogs, and spending time at the family cabin in Potter County.

Surviving is a longtime companion, Aaron L. Petersheim; three children, Brenda Witman (Elvin) of Kinzers, Frank Beam (April) of Grantville, and Wanda Bills (Darrel) of Narvon; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a sister, Janet Brenner of Narvon.

Preceding her in death is a son, Robert Beam; and a brother Donald Boley.
