Ruth K. Newswanger

Ruth K. Newswanger, 76, a resident of Denver Nursing Home, entered into the presence of our Lord and Savior on October 31, 2016. She was the wife of Paul N. Newswanger, also a resident of

Denver Nursing Home.

Born in East Earl Twp., she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Kochel.

Ruth enjoyed trips to the mountains with her family and friends and supporting her family members at activities and sporting events. She was very active in her church and enjoyed visiting those in need. God blessed her with a beautiful singing voice which she used to bless others as often as she could.

Surviving is a son Richard Arment, Jr.; three daughters: Darlene Arment, wife of Dorio Jones; Rita wife of Dave McEldorney; Ronda wife of Joe Bisazza; six step-children: Ron husband of Lindy Newswanger; Deb Newswanger wife of Shawn Clapper; Ricky Newswanger; Darbi wife of George Knee; Roger Newswanger, partner of life to J. Bruce Carswell; Scott husband of Tammi Newswanger; a brother Lee husband of Vera Kochel and a sister Reba McKee; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by brothers Ray and John Kochel.

The family will be holding a private celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice & Community Care, P. O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
