Ruth E. Worth

Ruth E. Worth, 71, of Drumore, died Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Colonia, NJ she was the daughter of the late Frederick V. and Theresa (Beslic) Beck. Her husband, Kenneth F. Worth, died September 23, 2010.

Ruth worked as a secretary for the US Army.

Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl L., married to Howard D. Miller of Drumore, and Julia A., married to Robby Kagarise of Williamsburg; four grandchildren, Zachary, Jesse, and Seth Miller, and Hannah Ruth Kagarise; two brothers and sisters-in-law; Robert and Beatrice Beck of Indianapolis, IN, and William and Phyllis Beck of Manalapan, NJ; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 2 pm at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland with the Reverend Robby Kagarise officiating. Interment will be in the Quarryville Cemetery. Viewing will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 1-2 pm.
