Ruth J. Yost

Ruth J. Yost, 83, of New Holland, died Friday, July 6, 2018 at Lancaster General Hospital.

She was married 62 years to Russell H. Yost. Born in Wayne Twp., Pine Grove, PA she was the daughter of the late Herman R. and Mamie Richards Staller.

Ruth retired from the Caernarvon Elementary School where she had been employed as a secretary. She was a graduate of Schuykill Haven High School and the Reading Business Institute. Ruth was a member of St. Stephen’s Reformed Church in New Holland. She enjoyed knitting and watching television.

Surviving besides her husband is a brother, Richard H. Staller of Pine Grove.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 13, at 11:00 A.M. at the Beck Funeral Home, 315 E. Main St., New Holland, PA with the Rev. Dr. Timothy Witmer officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Yost’s memory may be made to the Memorial Fund at St. Stephen’s Reformed Church, 249 E. Main St., New Holland, PA 17557.
