S. Kathryn Stoltzfus

S. Kathryn Stoltzfus, 92, of Akron, formerly of New Holland and Morgantown, entered into her eternal rest on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Maple Farm home.

She was born in Bareville to the late Aaron & Meda (Longenecker) Groff on February 17, 1932, and was the wife of Clarence Stoltzfus who passed away May 8, 2008.

Kathryn graduated from West Lampeter High School in 1949. She loved to volunteer and previously attended Grace & Truth church in Elverson.

Surviving are her children: Carol (Barry) Musser, Richard (Deborah) Kauffman, and Donna Thompson; and her stepchildren: Rosalin (Gene) Nolt, Dennis (Patty) Stoltzfus, and Cindy (John) Berg. Also surviving Kathryn are 11 grandchildren, Kelly, Wendy, Jamie, Christy, Patrick, Justin, Brian, Darren, Ashley, Randy, and Rachel, 25 great grandchildren, and 6 great, great grandchildren.

She is survived by her sister, Elaine Landis and brother, John Groff. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents and husband, were her two sisters, Shirley Keener, and Jean Louise Groff, brothers-in-law, Harlan Keener and Robert Landis, her son-in-law Gordon Thompson and a grandson, Scott Thompson.

A viewing will be held Monday, June 24, 2024, at Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main Street, New Holland, from 6-7 PM followed by her funeral service.
