Sadie S. Good, 92, of New Holland, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2026, at Garden Spot Village, surrounded by her loving family. Sadie was born in Honey Brook, to her late parents, Joel and Rebecca (Stoltzfus) Stoltzfus. She was married to the late George G. Good, who passed away in 2011.
Sadie was a long standing active member of Conestoga Church of the Brethren. She worked hard throughout her life raising her family while also assisting her husband as a bookkeeper and whatever else was necessary for his custom home building business. She was a wonderful cook providing memorable family dinners and holiday meals. She was also a fantastic baker making special memories with family during her annual Christmas cookie bakes. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, fishing, traveling, playing tennis and bowling. She loved watching all sports and was a loyal fan of the Eagles and Phillies. She especially enjoyed traveling to Florida to watch the Phillies during Spring Training. Her love for the Lord and her family was strong, and her faith carried her through life into the arms of Jesus.
Sadie is survived by her children; Doris Gilgore and her husband Charles, of Narvon, Beverly Good and her husband Richard Wayman, of Leichester, England, Larry Good and his wife Therese, of Gap, Rick Good and his wife Kathleen, of Lititz, and Wanda Good and her husband Chris Leister, of Leesport. She is also survived by three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Sadie was predeceased by her siblings, Aaron Stoltzfus, Amos Stoltzfus, Elmer Stoltzfus, Jacob Stoltzfus, Katie Burkholder and Johnathan Stoltzfus.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM, at The Community Church at Garden Spot Village, 433 South Kinzer Avenue, New Holland, with Chaplain Karyn Nancarvis officiating. Interment will occur immediately following the funeral at Bareville Union Cemetery, 52 Brethren Church Road, Leola.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to: CrossNet Ministries, P.O. Box 154, New Holland, PA 17557.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland.
