Samuel N. Weber, 78, Denver, went home to be with his Lord on April 4, 2016 at his home. He was the loving husband of Janet B. (Horst) Weber, with whom he had celebrated 55 years of marriage. Born in Adamstown, he was the son of the late Edwin G. and Susie L. (Good) Weber. Sam was a foreman for Gehman’s Feed Mill, retiring after 47 years. He was also a van driver for John Aaron Shirk. He was a member of Blue Ball Church of the Brethren. His hobbies included, gardening, woodworking, hunting, fishing, spending time with his grandchildren and family and going to the cabin.


In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children: Jay D. married to Missy J.(Hehnly) Weber, Ephrata; Carolyn F. married to Guy R. Eshelman, Lancaster; Cathy M. married to Robert S. Hess II, Reinholds; Roy L. married to Megan (Cash) Weber, Pickerington, OH; eight grandchildren: Kaley Reifsnyder, wife of Sawyer, Kara Hess, Ryan Eshelman, Philip Eshelman, Katie Eshelman, Aubrey Eshelman, Tori Cash, and Tyler Sweigart; four siblings: Lillian Weber, Richard married to Barbara Weber, Betsy Brackbill, Ruth Ann married to Lamar Hollinger, and five half-siblings: George Weber, Irene Horst, Lela married to Henry Horning, Erla married to Eugene Beiler, and Diane married to Richard Reitz. He was preceded in death by six half-siblings: Grace Horning, Carl Youndt, Melvin Youndt, Clair Youndt, Leon Youndt, and Hazel Martin.


His memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Petra Christian Fellowship, 565 Airport Rd., New Holland with Galen Weaver, Quentin Rissler, and Isaac Gehman officiating. Private interment will be in Blue Ball Church of the Brethren Cemetery. A viewing will be held at Petra on Friday from 2–4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill is in charge of arrangements.
