Sandra Lee Buckwalter

Sandra Lee Buckwalter, 83, of New Holland, died Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center. Her husband of 65 years, Ronald E. Buckwalter, survives.

Born in Talmage, she was the daughter of the late Chester Bair and Helen Marie (Anderson) Hoover.

Sandra worked at Tyson Foods, retiring from the production and packaging department.

She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, being at the beach and pool, and traveling.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Tina (Earl) Nolt, Leola, Cheryl Fuller, New Holland, six grandchildren: Craig, Cara, Christie, Shawn, Kyle, Cheyann, 13 great-grandchildren, and two sisters: Judy Smith and Terri Wanner.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald E. Buckwalter, Jr. and three brothers, Larry, Jack and Richard Hoover.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, 11:00 a.m. in The Towers at Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland with Pastor Ray Voran officiating. The family will receive friends in The Towers immediately following the service with a fellowship time to follow.
