Sarafina Kwitegese

Sarafina Kwitegese, 60, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

She was the wife of Leonard Ndagijimana. Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, she was the daughter of Rukera Dominico and Sirivia Nyirantuyehe

Sarafina had been a farmer and attended St. Jospeh Catholic Church in Lancaster.

Surviving besides her husband are 3 sons, Emmanuel Nsabimana husband of Musafiri Mwamini, Gideon Niyonzima husband of Bazirake Nyiramahoro , and Baraka Jackson; 4 daughters, Esperance Zibera, Elizabeth Nyirabunani wife of Pridah, Angelique Nyirabunani wife of Kasereka, and Noeline Izabayo; 19 grandchildren, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 28 at 1:30 PM at Petra Church, 565 Airport Road, New Holland. A viewing will be held at the church on Saturday from 12 Noon until the time of the service. If desired contributions made be made to the funeral home to help offset the costs.
