Sarah C. Spencer

Sarah C. Spencer, 74, of New Holland, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. Sarah was born in Philadelphia to her late parents, Raymond W. and Gladys M. (Allen) Carrick. Her husband, Robert L. Spencer, Sr., survives at home.

Sarah’s career was spent at Villanova University. In her retirement, she enjoyed crafting. She was a talented seamstress and dressmaker, even making her own wedding dress. She enjoyed crocheting and visiting craft fairs. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

In addition to her husband at home, Sarah is survived by her children, Robert L. Spencer, Jr., of Honey Brook, Kate Campbell and her husband Robert, of Northfield, NJ, Aaron Mooney and his wife Amanda, of Upper Darby, and son-in-law William Staniscia, of Sinking Spring, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister, Kay Castro.

In addition to her parents, Sarah was predeceased by her daughter, Heather Staniscia and several siblings.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland.
