Shirley Ann Martin

Shirley Ann (Ristenbatt) Martin, 80, of New Holland, unexpectedly passed away in her residence on June 25, 2025.

Born in Lebanon County, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Lutz) Ristenbatt.

She was the loving wife of Alvin R. Martin, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage.

She was a member of St. John’s Center United Church. Shirley and Alvin owned and operated Alvin Martin Repair for 28 years. She was a hard worker and was a very dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and crocheting Afghans in her earlier years.

Shirley is survived by her husband Alvin, sons, Steven L. Martin husband of Darlette S. Martin and Michael T. Martin husband of Linda L. Martin, grandchildren, Alyssa Martin, Shianne Martin and Zachery Martin and 2 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three siblings.

A private interment will be held in Center Union Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Groff High Funeral Home in New Holland is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
