Shirley Rose Titus, 2, of New Holland, passed away on July 15, 2021 at Lancaster General Hospital.
Born on November 27, 2018, in Lititz, she was the daughter of Nathaniel Ross and Faith Danielle (Dunkle) Titus.
Shirley was born with SCN8A, a genetic mutation which can cause multiple seizures and epilepsy.
Shirley was a fighter even from birth, she was very determined in her therapy sessions to complete the task at hand no matter how many challenges she faced. Even if she was having a tough day, she would have the biggest smile on her face. She loved to laugh and was known for having the best belly laugh. Her favorite activity was playing with her big sister and being around people. She attended St. Stephen Reformed Church in New Holland with her family.
In addition to her loving parents, Shirley is survived by her big sister; Adelaide Mae Titus and a little brother; Casper Owen Titus. Also surviving are her paternal grandparents; Kevin and Karen Titis of Medford, NJ, her maternal grandparents; Craig and Heidi Dunkle of Greencastle, PA and her paternal great grandmothers; Gloria Titus of NJ and Rebecca Entwistle of NJ.
Shirley is preceded by an infant brother; Augustine Ross Titus, who passed away on July 9, 2017 and her maternal great grandmother; Shirley Maxine Dunkle, with whom she was named after.
The family would like to extend special thanks for her nurses that would provide her with almost round the clock loving care and became family during the time of her care.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Timothy Witmer and Pastor Andrew DiNardo officiating in St. Stephen Reformed Church, 249 E Main St, New Holland, PA 17557. Family will receive friends and family from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the church. The service will be livestreamed on the church’s Youtube Page. A private burial will be held in St. Stephen Reformed Church Cemetery.
Groff High Funeral Home in New Holland is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
